Steve and Bridgette have had successful careers in Architecture, Interior Design, Community Planning and Real Estate. They have generally re_tired from their careers and are re_inventing themselves. While they will still do some of these design activities, as they go forward with the second half of their lives, they are passionate about re_purposing ….. beginning with re_focusing themselves, to the materials they use in their home and in projects, to salvaged / re_stored buildings in communities …. to just about everything.
They believe that the useful life of very few things is over – that most things can be re_vitalized to live another day, perhaps in a different form, use or application. They believe that the re_use of things is good for the environment, re_cycling items into new or alternative uses. They get a real charge out of re_creating value in seemingly valueless products or re_viving community places that were once declining….. it’s all about a re_purposed life for people, places, neighborhoods and communities!
Our Story
Steve and Bridgette Hawks,
a husband and wife team with 70 years of cumulative experience in strategic planning, master planning, architecture, design, real estate and economic revitalization. Bridgette interacts with clients, researching and networking to find the right solution for the client’s vision. Steve’s responsibility is managing the implementation and execution of the solution.
Steve and Bridgette are now known for helping clients get their projects initiated, off the ground, moving forward…..maybe not doing all they want to, but helping them ”do the best with what they’ve got”.
Together they founded:
- solutions design group; planning, design and project management.
- 360 grass roots; a not for profit focussed on economic revitalization through the arts, health and well being, and intergenerational aspects of community living.
- 360 full circle group; a team of expert owners that specialize in real estate and the built environment, providing the opportunity for clients to have a turn-key project. Services include everything from master planning, architecture, interior design and furnishings, engineering, construction, procurement and financial analysis of the built environment.
